When there is movement, there is friction. When there is friction, the size, shape and surface quality of relevant parts will change, resulting in wear and increasing the fitting clearance between relevant parts. When the clearance exceeds a reasonable range, only by adjusting the clearance can the accuracy of relative movement between parts be ensured.




A. Adjustment of guide rail guide accuracy




For ordinary mechanical equipment, the clearance between sliding guide rails is appropriate. Generally, a 0.03mm or 0.04mm thick feeler gauge is inserted into the end face for inspection. The insertion depth is required to be less than 20mm. If the clearance of the guide rail is not appropriate, it must be adjusted in time.




B. Adjustment of clearance between screw and nut of worm gear screw elevator




The screw nut drive of screw elevator is the most common mechanism to realize linear motion. It is difficult to ensure that there is no gap between the lead screw and the nut. Especially after one stage of use, the clearance will be increased due to wear, which will affect the normal operation of the equipment. Therefore, in the process of equipment maintenance, it is necessary to eliminate the gap between the lead screw and the nut.




C. Adjustment of spindle rotation accuracy of planetary reducer




Generally speaking, the rotation accuracy of the reducer spindle is largely determined by the bearing on the premise that the machining error of the spindle itself meets the requirements. The key to adjust the spindle rotation accuracy is to adjust the bearing clearance. Maintaining a reasonable bearing clearance is of great significance to the working performance and bearing life of the spindle components. For rolling bearings, working with a large clearance will not only cause the load to concentrate on the rolling element in the direction of stress, but also cause serious stress concentration at the contact between the inner and outer race raceways of the bearing, shorten the bearing life, and cause the main shaft centerline to drift, which is easy to cause the vibration of the main shaft components. Therefore, the adjustment of the rolling bearing must be preloaded to produce a certain amount of interference inside the bearing, which will cause a certain amount of elastic deformation at the contact between the rolling element and the inner and outer race raceways, so as to improve the rigidity of the bearing.
