By optimizing lubrication, reducing transmission losses, controlling operating conditions, and performing regular maintenance, the efficiency of the YCJ180-3-32.5 reducer can be increased by 3%-8% and stably maintained above 92%.
1. Optimize the lubrication system
Choose appropriate lithium complex grease (penetration 220-250, dropping point ≥180°C), avoid mixing different types of grease, and ensure that gears and bearings are fully lubricated.
Grease should be changed according to the cycle of 3000-5000 hours of operation. The period of high temperature or dusty environment should be shortened to 2000 hours. The amount of grease should be controlled to be 1/2-2/3 of the internal gap of the bearing to avoid heat accumulation or insufficient lubrication.
Check the status of the grease regularly. If it appears black, agglomerated or contains metal debris, replace it immediately to prevent increased wear.
2. Reduce transmission and installation losses
Ensure that the coaxiality error between the input shaft, output shaft, motor and load equipment is ≤0.2mm, and the base is firmly fixed to reduce additional friction caused by operating vibration.
When replacing gears or bearings, choose accessories with the same accuracy level (gear accuracy ≥ GB10095 level 5) to avoid increased losses due to uneven tooth surface meshing clearance or bearing jamming.
Clean the burrs and oil stains on the gear tooth surface, keep the meshing surface clean, and polish the tooth surface if necessary to reduce the meshing friction resistance.
3. Control operating conditions
Avoid overload operation of the reducer, control the load within 110% of the rated load, and load it smoothly during startup to prevent efficiency decline caused by instantaneous impact.
Improve the working environment and avoid long-term operation in high temperature (>40℃), humid or dusty environments. If necessary, install a heat dissipation device (such as a cooling fan) or a dust cover.
Avoid frequent starts and stops. Before restarting after a long shutdown, manually rotate the input shaft to ensure that the grease is evenly distributed before loading and running.
4. Regular maintenance and overhaul
Check the bearing temperature (normal ≤80°C) and abnormal operating noise every 1,000 hours of operation, and deal with problems such as bearing wear and end cover seal aging in a timely manner.
Check the gear meshing status every 6 months. If tooth surface wear or pitting occurs, repair or replace the gear in time to avoid continued reduction in transmission efficiency.
Regularly clean the dust and oil on the reducer casing to maintain smooth heat dissipation and avoid grease failure and increased transmission loss due to heat accumulation.
