How to perform daily maintenance on the bearings of parallel shaft F77-55-3KW-4P gear reducer

Publish Time: 2025-10-09     Origin: Site

The following is the daily maintenance plan for parallel shaft F77-55-3KW-4P gear reducer bearings, combining lubrication management, condition monitoring and preventive maintenance measures:

1. Lubrication management

  1. ‌Grease selection and filling‌

  • Use lithium-based grease (such as NLGI grade 2), and the filling amount is 1/2-2/3‌ of the bearing cavity space.

  • Replenish grease every 3-6 months, shortened to 1-2 months in high temperature or dusty environments.

  • ‌Lubrication system inspection‌

  • Check the oil level window (if equipped) weekly to make sure the grease has not dried out or become contaminated.

  • Replace the grease immediately if it is found to be discolored (blackened) or contains metal particles.

2. Operating status monitoring

  1. ‌Vibration and temperature detection‌

  • Use a vibration meter to detect the bearing parts every day. The effective value of the vibration speed should be ≤4.5mm/s‌.

  • An infrared temperature measuring gun monitors the temperature of the outer ring of the bearing, and the temperature rise is ≤25℃ (limited to ambient temperature +40℃).

  • ‌Sound and abnormal noise judgment‌

  • During normal operation, the bearing sound is uniform. If there is a periodic 'rustling' sound (loose fit) or high-frequency noise (raceway damage), the machine needs to be shut down for inspection.

3. Preventive maintenance

  1. ‌Regular disassembly and inspection‌

  • Disassemble the bearings every 2000 hours and check the wear of raceways and rolling elements. If the clearance is out of tolerance (>0.05mm), it needs to be replaced.

  • Use kerosene when cleaning bearings and avoid using wire brushes to damage the surface.

  • ‌Sealing and Protection‌

  • Check whether the shaft end oil seal is aging (replace every 10,000 hours) to prevent dust intrusion.

  • In humid environments, anti-rust grease (such as containing molybdenum disulfide) should be used.

‌Note‌ : During maintenance, make sure the reducer is powered off and the coupling protective cover has been removed. If the bearing temperature continues to be >80°C or the vibration value is >7.1mm/s, the machine needs to be shut down immediately for maintenance.
