1. Reason analysis

a. The amount of lubricating oil is insufficient.When the oil level of the lubricating oil is insufficient or cannot reach a reasonable height due to the oil leakage of the reducer, it may cause the bearing temperature of the reducer to be high or have noise;

b. The friction of the bearing cover or sealing part is too large.When the bearing cover or the sealing part and the connecting part are worn due to improper bearing installation, improper bearing cover or long-term use, the temperature of the reducer bearing will be high or there will be noise;

c. Bearing damage or wear.It mainly includes the damage of the bearing cage, the wear or deformation of the inner and outer rings and the wear or drop of the balls, which will make the reducer unable to work normally;

d. The bearing clearance is too large or too small.Long-term use causes the gap between the ball of the reducer bearing and the inner and outer rings or the gap between the inner ring of the bearing and the shaft, and the gap between the bearing and the end cover to increase, and symptoms of bearing overheating and noise may appear;

e. The helical gear key handle is loose.A loose helical gear key shank can cause loose fit between the gear and the shaft, resulting in overheating of the bearings or noise.

2. Prevention and elimination methods

a. Check the oil level and add lubricating oil;

b. Tighten the bolts of the bearing and the connecting part, and check the installation of the seal;

c. Check the bearing and replace it immediately if it is damaged;

d. If the clearance is not suitable, try to adjust the bearing clearance first, and replace the bearing if it cannot be adjusted;

e. If the key handle of the helical gear is loose, it should be repaired in time.
