ZL42.5-2 belongs to the ZL series two-stage cylindrical gear reducer (center distance 425mm, nominal transmission ratio 2). According to JB/T 8853-2015 standard, it has a total of 5 assembly forms (Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ, Ⅳ, Ⅴ). The core difference lies in the position, steering and installation orientation of the input/output shaft, as follows:
1. Assembly form Ⅰ
The input shaft and output shaft are in the same direction (both on the same side of the reducer box), with the input shaft on top and the output shaft on bottom;
Installation method: horizontal foot installation (base fixed), input shaft can be clockwise/counterclockwise (according to motor rotation);
Applicable scenarios: Equipment with compact space and input and output that need to be arranged on the same side (such as small conveyors and mixers).
2. Assembly form II
The input shaft and output shaft are in opposite directions (separated on both sides of the box), with the input shaft on top and the output shaft on bottom;
Installation method: Horizontal foot installation, input shaft and output shaft rotate in opposite directions;
Applicable scenarios: Equipment that requires transmission reversal and separate driving on both sides (such as roller tables, small elevators).
3. Assembly form III
The input shaft and output shaft are in the same direction, with the input shaft at the bottom and the output shaft at the top;
Installation method: Horizontal foot installation, the axis is upside down, forming a 'mirror image' with Type I;
Applicable scenarios: working conditions where the input shaft needs to be arranged at a low position and the output shaft needs to be output at a high position (such as silo feeders, small screening machines).
4. Assembly form IV
The input shaft and output shaft are in opposite directions, with the input shaft at the bottom and the output shaft at the top;
Installation method: Horizontal foot installation, the axis is upside down, forming a 'mirror image' with type II;
Applicable scenarios: Equipment that requires reversal and has a low input shaft and a high output shaft (such as small crushers, vibrating feeders).
5. Assembly form V
The input shaft and output shaft are arranged vertically (the input shaft is horizontal and the output shaft is vertically downward);
Installation method: vertical flange installation (flange fixed on the top of the box), the output shaft is driven vertically downward;
Applicable scenarios: Vertical equipment (such as vertical mixers, mixing tanks, vertical conveyors), saving horizontal space.
