NAF355-4.5-1 high temperature bearing capacity of planetary gear reducer
According to the general design standards and material characteristics of industrial reducers, the maximum allowable operating temperature of the NAF355-4.5-1 planetary gear reducer is usually 80℃ (shell temperature), but it needs to be comprehensively evaluated in combination with specific working conditions and lubrication conditions.
Key influencing factors
1. Lubrication system
When using synthetic lubricating oils (such as ISO VG 320), the upper limit of the oil temperature can reach 90℃ . If it exceeds this temperature, shut down and check.
In high temperature environments (>45℃), the rated power needs to be reduced by 10%-15% to avoid temperature rise exceeding the standard.
2. Materials and heat dissipation design
The high temperature resistance of hard-toothed gears and bearings depends on the material (such as 20CrMnTi carburized steel), which can withstand 100℃ in the short term , but it is recommended to control the long-term operation below 80℃.
If equipped with forced heat dissipation (such as fan or water cooling), it can improve high temperature adaptability to 45℃ ambient temperature + 50℃ temperature rise (ie 95℃)
3. Ambient temperature limit
The standard working environment temperature range is -30℃~+50℃ , and the high-temperature end must ensure the effectiveness of the heat dissipation system.
Abnormal temperature rise determination
When shell temperature is >80℃ the or the oil temperature is >90℃ , the machine must be shut down immediately for inspection.
Abnormal temperature rise may be accompanied by noise, increased vibration, or deterioration of lubricant (black, metal particles).
Maintenance recommendations
Clean the radiator regularly to avoid blockage and cause temperature rise to exceed the standard.
It is recommended to check the lubricant oil status every 500 hours in high temperature environments, and replace it with high-temperature resistant synthetic oil (such as L-CKD 320) if necessary.
