Vibration and noise
Causes of failure : uneven wear of gears or damaged tooth surfaces, resulting in poor meshing; wear and even damage to the bearings; unstable installation of reducer, loose anchor bolts; excessive or unbalanced load.
Solution : Repair or replace worn gears. Slight wear can be polished and repaired. Severe wear needs to be replaced; replace worn or damaged bearings and install them correctly; reinstall the reducer, tighten the anchor bolts; adjust the load to avoid overload or unbalanced operation.
Too high temperature
Causes of failure : gear clearance is too small, poor meshing, excessive friction and heat generation; insufficient lubrication or improper lubricant selection; the ambient temperature around the reducer is too high, poor heat dissipation; the load is too large.
Solution : Adjust the gear clearance, improve the gear design to reduce friction heat; ensure sufficient lubrication, select appropriate lubricants, regularly check and replenish or replace; improve the surrounding environment, increase ventilation facilities; adjust the load reasonably to avoid long-term overload operation.
Oil leak
Cause of failure : ageing or damaged seals; too much or too little lubricating oil; improper installation or loose fasteners.
Solution : Check the seal regularly, replace it in time if it is aging or damaged; control the amount of lubricating oil, replenish it when it is insufficient, and release it when it is too much; strictly follow the installation specifications to ensure that the installation is correct and the fasteners are firm.
Gears and bearings damaged
Cause of failure : Long-term operation causes serious wear of gears or bearings; poor lubrication or improper lubricant selection; excessive load or frequent start and stop.
Solution : Repair or replace severely worn gears, and grind the tooth surface with slight wear; replace worn or damaged bearings and install them correctly; select appropriate lubricant to check the lubrication status regularly; adjust the load reasonably to avoid overload operation.
Transmission components fail
Cause of failure : long-term wear of the transmission parts; excessive load or frequent start and stop, resulting in overload damage; improper installation or loose fasteners.
Solution : Repair or replace severely worn transmission parts; adjust the load reasonably to avoid overload operation; install strictly in accordance with installation specifications to ensure that the fasteners are firm.
