How to reduce the temperature of the cycloid reducer?

The working temperature of the lubricating oil in the cycloid reducer should generally not exceed 90 degrees Celsius. If the temperature is too high, the physical and chemical properties of the oil will change. For example, reducing the viscosity of the smooth oil will reduce the bearing capacity of the smooth oil film, which may eventually lead to direct contact between the working tooth surface and the side glue.

There are three ways to dissipate the cycloid reducer:

natural cooling

If the ordinary cabinet cannot meet the heat dissipation requirements, heat sinks can be added outside the case, and the heat sinks can be arranged to allow the air to circulate naturally.

2. Fan cooling

If the natural cooling effect of the chassis is not ideal, fan cooling can be used.

3. Water cooling

The oil sump of the cycloid reducer is equipped with a serpentine water pipe.Serpentines are usually made of copper or brass. The pipeline is equipped with cooling water, which takes away the wind heat of the lubricating oil.
