What are the installation points of ZJY shaft-mounted reducer?

The installation points of ZJY shaft-mounted reducer mainly focus on five key links: preparation before installation, host shaft connection, anti-torsion tie rod installation, transmission belt installation and lubrication. Strictly following these steps is the basis for ensuring smooth operation and extended service life of your equipment.

1. Preparation before installation

Check information: Confirm whether the model, transmission ratio, rotation direction and other parameters of the reducer meet the usage requirements.

Check the equipment: Check whether the reducer is damaged during transportation and ensure that all components are intact.

Clean the surface: Thoroughly clean the surface of the main shaft and the hollow shaft hole of the reducer to ensure that there is no oil, burrs and foreign matter.

2. Host shaft connection

This is the core step of installation and requires special attention.

Apply grease: Apply a layer of grease evenly on the surface of the main shaft and the hollow shaft hole of the reducer to reduce assembly resistance.

Alignment and push-in: Lift the reducer, align the hollow shaft hole with the main shaft of the host, and then push it in gently. It is strictly prohibited to use hammering or other forced blowing methods to avoid damage to the bearings or deformation of the hollow shaft.

Keep the gap: Make sure to keep a 3-5mm gap between the shoulder of the main engine shaft and the end face of the reducer output shaft to facilitate future disassembly and prevent the backstop from overheating.

Fastening the taper sleeve: For reducers connected with double-ended taper sleeves, the inner taper sleeve should be inserted into the main engine shaft first, and then pushed into the reducer, then the outer taper sleeve should be installed, and then the fastening screws of the left and right taper sleeves should be tightened alternately and evenly.

3. Installation of anti-twist tie rod

When the reducer is running, the reaction torque on the box needs to be balanced by the anti-torsion tie rod (or torque arm).

Installation position: The anti-torsion tie rod should be installed on the side of the reducer facing the working machine to reduce the additional bending moment on the main shaft of the working machine.

Elastic connection: The bushing at the connection end of the tie rod and the fixed support should use elastomers such as rubber to absorb torque fluctuations and prevent deflection.

Reduce shaking: The inner hole of the ring head and the tie rod pin should be matched with a small gap (such as H9/n9), which can effectively reduce the left and right shaking of the reducer during operation.

4. Installation of transmission belt

If the reducer is connected to the motor through a V-belt, the following points should be noted:

Belt selection: Use high-strength narrow V-belts as much as possible, which will help reduce belt tension and increase the life of the input shaft bearings.

Selection of pulleys: V-belt pulleys that have been fully machined should be selected, and ensure that the pulleys meet static balance requirements.

Adjust tension: Belt tension should be moderate. Usually, two fingers can be used to press down on the belt, and it is advisable to move the pressure point downward by 1-2mm. Do not over-tighten during initial installation to avoid adding unnecessary cantilever tension to the bearing.
