What are the manifestations of insufficient lubricating oil in BLD5-35-18.5KW cycloid reducer

When the lubricating oil of the cycloid reducer is insufficient, the following behaviors may occur:
Abnormal temperature rise: During normal operation, the oil temperature of the reducer is generally maintained at 60℃-80℃. Insufficient lubricant will reduce the heat dissipation area and reduce the heat dissipation efficiency, and the oil temperature may rise to 90℃ or even higher. Long-term high temperature will accelerate the aging and deformation of the seal, resulting in oil leakage, which will make the lubricant oil even less and form a vicious cycle.
Increased noise and vibration: lack of protection from lubricating oil, the friction between gears, bearings and other components increases, and the friction sound will be more obvious. At the same time, abnormal vibration may occur, affecting the smooth operation of the reducer.
Intensified wear: insufficient lubricating oil cannot form a good oil film on the surface of the component. The contact surfaces of key components such as gears and bearings directly rub against each other, and the friction coefficient increases. For example, the friction coefficient between gears may increase from normal about 0.05-0.1 to 0.2 or even higher, and scratches, strains and other damages will occur on the surface of the component, shortening the service life of the component.
Reduced working efficiency: Due to the increase in friction, the reducer needs to consume more energy to complete the same work, resulting in a decrease in working efficiency, which may cause slower equipment operation speed and unstable power output.
Dry friction phenomenon occurs: Severe insufficient lubricating oil will cause dry friction, which will cause sharp wear of gears, bearings and other components, and may even lead to glue and sticking on the surface of the components, ultimately causing the reducer to fail to operate normally.
The oil level gauge reading abnormally: The liquid level of the lubricant can be directly observed through the oil level gauge. If the oil level is below the normal scale range, it means that the lubricant oil volume is insufficient. But be careful about whether there is a fault in the oil level gauge itself to ensure accurate readings.
