When the drive of the reduction motor and the concentricity of the planetary reducer are assembled, only the rotating power of the drive output shaft exists, and the rotation will not falter and is very smooth. When the drive output shaft is not concentric, there is a radial force in addition to the rotating force, which makes the drive output shaft bend and rotate. If the concentricity error is large, it will eventually cause the drive output to break the shaft. If the concentricity error is large, the breaking time of the drive output shaft is short. When the drive output shaft is broken, the radial force of the planetary reducer exceeds the bearing capacity, which will lead to the deformation and damage of the input end of the reducer.
Before welding, the fractured part of the reducer needs to be processed and leveled. In order to reduce the welding stress, certain measures also need to be taken in the welding groove: first, the U-shaped groove shall be designed according to the fracture and the diameter of parts. Generally, the width of the groove is 20mm and the depth is 37mm. The groove shape shall be consistent. After the fracture surface is processed and leveled, Use forming turning tool for groove processing. In order to avoid stress concentration, all parts of the groove should be rounded to reduce the proportion of the base metal melted into the weld metal and prevent the recurrence of welding cracks. The welding gap also needs to be moderate, too small is easy to produce defects, too large is easy to burn through.
If the drive shaft and the input end of the planetary reducer are concentric, the drive shaft surface is consistent with the input end hole of the planetary reducer, and there is no radial force and deformation space. There will be gaps and deformation if they are not concentric.
At the same time, the output shaft of the planetary reducer will break or bend. However, planetary reducer is the product of driving motor force and reduction ratio, and its output shaft is easier to be broken. Users should pay more attention to its concentric shaft when using planetary reducer.
