Common reasons why ZSY315-80-2 hardened cylindrical gear reducer cannot start
1. Mechanical stuck/overload (highest)
1. The back-end load is locked: Belt conveyors, scrapers, ball mills and other driven equipment are blocked, bearings are ablated, and debris is blocked. The reducer cannot carry the load and cannot rotate when powered on.
2. Internal mechanical failure of the reducer:
Gears at all levels have chipped or broken teeth, and the tooth surfaces are severely glued and jammed;
The high-speed shaft/intermediate shaft/low-speed shaft bearings are broken, the cage is stuck, and the rollers fall off and lock;
Internal coupling, flat key shear shift, spline stuck;
Lubrication failure leads to dry grinding and sintering of gears and bearings, and viscosity and jamming inside the cavity.
3. Serious deviations in installation alignment: the coaxiality of the motor and the reducer is out of tolerance, the base feet are loose and offset, the bearings are subject to excessive radial force, and the operation is stiff and stuck.
4. The brake is not released: the supporting brake, electromagnetic brake, and backstop are stuck and will not be released, and the machine is mechanically locked and cannot rotate.
2. Motor and electrical power failure
1. The motor itself fails: the windings are burned out, the phase is missing, the bearings are locked, the rotor is broken, the motor is unable to drive or even makes a muffled sound and does not rotate.
2. Abnormal power supply: three-phase phase loss, too low voltage/large voltage drop, virtual connection of the line, blown fuse, circuit breaker tripping.
3. Control loop problems: contactor contact ablation, thermal relay overload protection lock, emergency stop failure to reset, limit protection triggering shutdown and locking.
4. Wiring errors: wrong phase sequence, mixed neutral/ground wire connection, variable frequency parameter lock (start-stop parameters and torque limit are too small during variable frequency drive).
3. Lubrication and oil temperature environmental issues
1. Low temperature in winter: The viscosity of the gear oil is too large and thick, and the viscous resistance of the oil is extremely large. The cold engine will not turn when it is started directly.
2. Abnormal oil level: too much oil is added and the oil stirring resistance of the cavity exceeds the surface; too little oil is added and the local dry grinding is stuck.
3. Oil deterioration: oil emulsification, many impurities, sludge scaling, and internal transmission resistance increases sharply.
4. Model matching and working condition matching issues (exclusive for ZSY315-80-2)
1. Selection Insufficient margin: the actual load far exceeds the rated torque of the 80 speed ratio, and the vehicle is overloaded and boring at the moment of startup.
2. Backstop failure: ZSY is often equipped with a backstop device. The backstop wedge is stuck, the spring fails, and the one-way lock cannot be started in the forward direction.
3. The high-speed end pulley/coupling is locked: the connecting end is corroded, the jackscrew is seized, and power cannot be transmitted.
