Adjusting the meshing gap between the cycloid wheel and the pin gear shell of the BLEY3922-5133-0.55kW cycloidal pinwheel reducer is a key operation to ensure smooth transmission, reduce noise, and extend service life. The standard range of the meshing gap for this model is 0.15~0.30mm. The specific adjustment steps are as follows:
1. Gap measurement and marking before disassembly
First, manually rotate the input shaft to feel the rotation resistance and record the abnormal position; then use a feeler gauge to measure the gap between the cycloid gear tooth top and the pin tooth pin, and mark the area where the gap is too large or too small to provide a reference for subsequent adjustments.
If the reducer has a double cycloid structure, alignment marks must be made on the two cycloid wheels, eccentric sleeve, and output flange to avoid assembly phase errors after disassembly and affecting the gap adjustment accuracy.
2. Disassemble the core components and clean and inspect them
Disassemble the motor, input shaft end cover, output flange, pin sleeve and pin in sequence, and take out the two cycloid wheels; note that it is forbidden to knock the cycloidal wheel and pin tooth pin during disassembly to prevent tooth surface collapse or pin tooth deformation.
Clean the oil stains and iron filings on the surface of the pins and pin sleeves in the pin shell, check whether the pins are worn or bent, and whether the pin sleeves are cracked; at the same time, check whether the tooth surface of the cycloidal wheel is pitted or worn. If the parts are damaged, replace the original parts first.
3. Control the meshing gap by adjusting the gasket
The core of adjusting the meshing clearance is to change the axial position of the cycloidal wheel, which is achieved by increasing or decreasing the thickness of the adjustment pads on both sides of the cycloidal wheel:
The gap is too small (stuck rotation, rapid temperature rise): between the cycloid wheel and the output flange, or between the cycloid wheel and the end face of the pin gear housing, reduce the thickness of the adjustment gasket by 0.05~0.10mm to move the cycloid wheel axially and increase the meshing gap with the pin teeth; the thickness of each adjustment gasket should not exceed 0.10mm to avoid sudden changes in the gap.
The gap is too large (high impact noise, insufficient torque): Add an adjustment gasket with a thickness of 0.05~0.10mm to move the cycloidal wheel toward the pin gear shell and reduce the meshing gap; the gasket must be made of stainless steel gaskets with uniform material to avoid uneven gaps caused by gasket deformation.
Double cycloidal wheel models need to symmetrically adjust the thickness of the gaskets of the two cycloidal wheels to ensure that the meshing clearance between the two wheels and the pin teeth is consistent to prevent excessive wear on one side due to excessive clearance.
