Routine maintenance of the elevator reducer is the key to ensuring long-term stable operation of the equipment, extending its service life and preventing sudden failures. Combined with the maintenance specifications of industrial equipment, daily maintenance mainly includes the following core points:

1. Inspection and management of lubrication system

Lubrication is an important means to reduce equipment wear and extend service life. The oil level of the reducer needs to be checked regularly on a daily basis to ensure that the oil level remains in the middle of the upper and lower oil marking lines to avoid insufficient lubrication caused by too low an oil level, or rising oil temperature and oil leakage caused by too high an oil level. At the same time, the status of the lubricating oil should be closely monitored. If the oil is found to turn black, turbid, smelly, or have a significant change in viscosity, it means that the oil has deteriorated or been contaminated and needs to be replaced in time. In addition, you should also check whether there is oil leakage at the seals such as the shaft end of the reducer and the joint surface of the box. Once found, it must be repaired immediately.

2. Real-time monitoring of operating status

During the operation of the reducer, it is necessary to focus on changes in temperature, vibration and noise. The normal operating temperature should generally be maintained between 60-80°C, and the maximum temperature shall not exceed 80°C. If the temperature rises abnormally, it may be caused by poor lubrication, blocked heat dissipation, or excessive load. At the same time, you should pay attention to the sound of the equipment operating. Normal noise should be smooth and small. If there are sharp sounds, impact sounds, or vibrations that increase significantly, it usually indicates internal problems such as gear wear, bearing damage, or coupling looseness, and the machine must be shut down for inspection in time.

3. Routine inspection of fasteners and appearance

During the long-term operation of the equipment, the fastening status of each component is directly related to the safety. Anchor bolts, connecting bolts, etc. need to be regularly inspected and tightened daily to prevent increased vibration or components from falling off due to looseness. In addition, the reducer shell should also be checked for cracks, deformation and other cosmetic damage to ensure the structural integrity of the equipment.

4. Guarantee of heat dissipation and clean environment

Good heat dissipation and clean environment are the basis for the stable operation of the reducer. The dust, oil on the surface of the reducer and the dust between the heat dissipation fins should be cleaned regularly, and good ventilation should be maintained to prevent the accumulation of dirt from affecting the heat dissipation efficiency. At the same time, it is necessary to ensure that the environment around the equipment is clean and tidy to prevent dust, moisture and impurities from invading the inside of the gearbox and causing pollution.

5. Standardized operations and scientific records

In daily use, long-term overload operation of the reducer should be strictly avoided, and frequent starts and stops should be minimized to slow down the fatigue wear of internal components. It is recommended to establish a detailed digital maintenance ledger to record the equipment’s cumulative operating time, oil parameters, temperature/vibration data, and each maintenance content, and to predict potential failures in advance through data trend analysis.
