The reduction ratio of the NBD1250 planetary reducer is fixed at the factory and cannot be continuously adjusted on site; however, the reduction ratio can be changed by replacing the internal gear set.
1. Core principles and factory status
NBD1250 is a two-stage planetary transmission structure, and the reduction ratio is determined by the gear ratio of the sun gear, planetary gear, and internal ring gear. The gear set is fixedly matched when leaving the factory, and the reduction ratio cannot be adjusted steplessly/continuously on site.
2. Reduction ratio adjustment plan (hardware replacement)
1. Replace the entire gear set
Replace the sun gear, planet gear, and ring gear corresponding to the reduction ratio, and can switch within the standard series (such as 20, 25, 28, 31.5, 35.5, 40, 45, 50, etc.).
Advantages: Transmission accuracy, load-bearing capacity, and efficiency are consistent with the original factory.
Note: Professional disassembly, assembly and coaxiality calibration are required, otherwise vibration, noise and wear will be aggravated.
2. Customized non-standard reduction ratio
Contact the manufacturer to customize a gear set with a special number of teeth to achieve non-standard speed ratios.
The cost is high, the cycle is long, and it is suitable for special working conditions.
3. Indirect speed regulation scheme (without changing the mechanical reduction ratio)
Frequency conversion speed regulation: Adjust the input motor speed through the frequency converter, indirectly changing the output speed, and the mechanical reduction ratio remains unchanged.
Multi-stage series connection: Multiple NBD1250 units are connected in series, and the total reduction ratio is the product of the speed ratios of each unit, which is suitable for ultra-large speed ratio requirements.
4. Selection and replacement suggestions
Priority is given to standard reduction ratios (such as 20, 25, 31.5, 40, 50), as the accessories are highly versatile and low-cost.
After replacing the gear set, it must be re-lubricated, run-in, and vibrated to ensure stable operation.
It is not recommended for non-professionals to dismantle it by themselves, as this can easily lead to loss of accuracy and damage to the equipment.
