There are usually some common standards for the grease replacement cycle and method of micro cycloid reducers, but please refer to the product manual for details. The following is the relevant content about the replacement of WB1285-LD-2065-0.37KW/4 micro cycloid reducer grease:
General situation : According to the common cycloid reducer usage specifications, newly purchased reducers should undergo the first grease replacement after initial operation of 300-600 hours. After that, under normal use conditions, that is, working for no more than 10 hours a day and the ambient temperature and other conditions are more suitable, it is recommended to replace the grease every 6-12 months.
Special circumstances : If the reducer runs for more than 10 hours a day, or the working environment temperature is high (more than 40℃), low (less than -15℃), and is used in harsh environments such as high dust and high humidity, the grease replacement cycle should be shortened, and it usually needs to be replaced every 3-6 months. For reducers that have not been used for a long time (usually for more than 12 months), the grease must be replaced before reusing them.
1. Preparation : Stop the machine and cut off the power supply to ensure that the reducer stops operating completely, wait for the equipment to cool below 40℃, and avoid scalding. Prepare an appropriate amount of grease that meets the requirements, and it is recommended to use molybdenum disulfide-2 or ZL-2 lithium-based grease, etc. At the same time, prepare tools such as high-pressure oil injection gun, special cleaning scraper for grease, non-woven fabrics, special cleaning agents, etc.
2. Discharge old grease : Remove the observation hole cover or ventilation hood of the reducer, use a copper scraper to clean it along the 45° angle of the oil tank, and try to remove more than 90% of the old grease. For some difficult parts, you can use non-woven fabric to wipe it with special cleaning agent, but be careful to avoid residual cleaning agent entering the reducer.
3. Cleaning parts (optional) : If the reducer runs for a long time or the inside is dirty, you can disassemble the reducer, take out the parts, and use a special cleaning agent to thoroughly clean each part to remove oil, impurities, metal debris, etc., and then wipe or dry with a clean cloth.
4. Inject new grease : Use a high-pressure oil injection gun to press new grease into the inside of the reducer from the observation hole or ventilation hood hole. The amount of grease injection is generally 1/3-1/2 of the volume of the reducer cavity, and it should not be too much to avoid stirring heat. You can also calculate the loading amount by referring to the relevant formula, such as Q=0.005×D×B (D is the outer diameter of the bearing/mm, and B is the width of the bearing/mm). The grease injection process can be carried out in multiple times, with each interval of about 5 minutes, so that the grease can fully fill the gap and bearing and other parts.
5. Inspection and debugging : After the grease injection is completed, install the observation hole cover or ventilation hood to ensure a good seal. Start the reducer and let it run for about 15 minutes without load. The speed is controlled at about 30% of the rated value, so that the grease is evenly distributed under the action of centrifugal force. During operation, check whether the reducer has abnormal noise, vibration, etc., and observe the oil window at the same time to confirm that the grease coverage is more than 85%.
