To control the operating conditions of the coaxial TY250-50-45KW gear reducer, it is necessary to start from installation and debugging, lubrication management, load control, monitoring and maintenance, etc., the details are as follows:


  • Accurate installation and centering : During installation, ensure that the concentricity deviation between the reducer input shaft and the motor shaft, the output shaft and the load shaft is less than 0.05mm. It is recommended to use a laser centering instrument to calibrate it and re-check it after 24 hours of operation to reduce bearing wear and vibration.

  • Reasonable choice of lubricant : Select the appropriate lubricant viscosity according to the working environment temperature. ISO VG68 lubricating oil is used when the ambient temperature is lower than 0℃, and lubricating oil above VG220 is used in high temperature working conditions. At the same time, the oil level must be controlled well. The liquid level of the oil tank must cover 1-3 times the height of the large gear teeth to avoid excessive or insufficient oil causing heat or insufficient lubrication.

  • Strictly control the load : calculate the actual torque according to the formula to ensure that there is a safety margin of 15%-20% when Selection to avoid overload operation. For example, when a 45KW motor is equipped with a TY250 reducer, it is necessary to ensure that the actual load torque is within the rated range.


  • Real-time monitoring of temperature and vibration : Under normal operating conditions, the temperature of the reducer housing should be lower than 85℃. At the same time, the vibration value must comply with the ISO 10816 standard. When the power is greater than 15kW, the vibration speed should be ≤7.1mm/s. Real-time monitoring can be carried out through temperature sensors and vibration sensors. If abnormalities are found, the load status, lubrication system or heat dissipation conditions will be checked in time.

  • Intelligent control system is adopted : a linkage control system composed of temperature sensors, liquid level sensors, vibration sensors, speed sensors, pressure sensors, noise sensors, data processing centers, controllers and handheld terminals can be installed to collect and monitor multiple operating data such as bearing temperature, vibration, oil level, speed, internal pressure and noise. When any operating data exceeds the set threshold range, the control reducer stops running and notify maintenance personnel to perform maintenance.

  • Optimized speed regulation method : The frequency conversion speed regulation method can be used to change the power frequency through the inverter, control the motor speed, and then control the operating speed of the reducer. This method has high speed regulation accuracy and high efficiency. Other speed regulation methods such as resistance speed regulation method and mechanical speed regulation method can also be selected according to actual conditions.


  • Regular maintenance and inspection : Regularly check the sealing structure of the reducer, such as oil seals, ventilation plugs, etc., to prevent dust and water vapor from invading. Especially in harsh environments, it is recommended to conduct sealing performance tests every quarter. At the same time, regularly check the wear of gears and bearings, and replace the worn parts in time.
