How to determine whether the axis line of ZQD500-223.8-I soft tooth surface reducer needs to be adjusted

To determine whether the axis line of ZQD500-223.8-I soft tooth surface reducer needs to be adjusted, the following methods can be used:


  • Observation of equipment operation status

    • Vibration : If the reducer vibrates abnormally violently during operation, it usually means that the axis line may not be properly aligned. For example, if a reducer connected to a ball mill vibrates greatly, it is likely that the axis of the two is not on the same straight line.

    • Noise change : When the axis line deviation exceeds the allowable range, the gear meshing will be abnormal, resulting in abnormal noise. If the reducer makes sharp, harsh or uneven sounds while running, the axis line may need to be adjusted.

    • Temperature abnormality : Deviation of the axis line will cause uneven stress of bearings and other components, which will cause temperature to rise. If the temperature of the bearing part of the reducer is significantly higher than the normal operating temperature, it can be considered that it is caused by the deviation of the axis line.


  • Measurement tool detection

    • Laser centering instrument measurement : Use a laser centering instrument to accurately measure the axis center line deviation between the reducer input shaft and the connecting device shaft. According to the instrument operation guide, measure the radial and axial offsets respectively. If the measured value exceeds the allowable range of coaxiality specified by the equipment, it needs to be adjusted.

    • Dial meter measurement : Fix the dial meter in a stable position, so that the measuring rod touches the axis, gently rotate the other axis, and observe the change in the reading of the dial meter to detect the deviation of the axis. If the dial meter reading deviation is large and exceeds the allowable value, the axis line needs to be adjusted.

    • Snap gauge measurement : You can use a feeler gauge to measure the gap between the couplings and judge the deviation of the axial and radial directions. If the gap is uneven or exceeds the specified range, it means that there may be deviations in the axis line and further inspection and adjustment are required.


  • Refer to the equipment technical documents : Check the relevant technical documents or manuals of ZQD500-223.8-I soft tooth surface reducer, which usually specifies indicators such as the angle limit deviation of the gear shaft center line and the displacement allowable range of the gear center line. Use professional measurement methods to obtain actual deviation data and compare it with the standard value. If the standard exceeds the standard, it needs to be adjusted.
