What are the differences between WPWDA worm reducer and WPWD series reducer?

WPWDA and WPWD both belong to the WP series universal worm gear reducer. The core difference lies in the input shaft position and installation adaptability. The following is a detailed comparison:

WPWDA: universal type (W) + with motor flange (D) + input shaft at the bottom (A), the input shaft position is fixed at the bottom

1. Installation and space

WPWD: High degree of installation freedom, can be installed in vertical, horizontal, flange, etc., adapting to complex space layouts

WPWDA: The motor is placed underneath and the overall height is lower, suitable for scenarios where the space is compact and the center of gravity of the equipment needs to be lowered.

2. Lubrication and heat dissipation

WPWD: The input shaft can be moved up or down, the oil level needs to be adjusted according to the installation direction, and the lubrication adaptability is strong

WPWDA: With the input shaft at the bottom, the oil pool lubrication is more stable, the heat dissipation path is better, and it is suitable for continuous operation.

The carrying capacity, efficiency and speed ratio range of the two are basically the same (single-stage speed ratio 10-60, power 0.12-15kW)

WPWDA has a fixed structure, better coaxiality, and slightly better long-term operation stability.

WPWD: Equipment that requires flexible adjustment of installation direction and common use in multiple scenarios (such as conveyors, mixers, packaging machinery)

1. The installation direction is given priority : if the motor needs to be mounted downwards, choose WPWDA; if the installation direction is flexible, choose WPWD.
