According to the model ZL60-31.5-15KW, this is a cylindrical gear reducer. This type of reducer usually has a variety of installation forms, which can be divided into three dimensions: installation direction, connection method and shaft system layout.
1. Divided according to installation direction
1. Horizontal installation
Horizontal installation features: This is the most common installation method. The output shaft of the reducer is parallel to the ground.
Applicable scenarios for horizontal installation: Widely used in most horizontal transmission equipment such as conveyor belts, mixers, and packaging machines.
Advantages: Compact structure, simple installation, easy access to key components during maintenance.
2. Vertical installation
Vertical installation features: The output shaft of the reducer is perpendicular to the ground.
Applicable scenarios for vertical installation: Suitable for vertical transmission with limited space, such as elevators, top drives of mixing tanks, etc.
Note: Vertical installation requires higher sealing performance of lubricating oil, and special attention needs to be paid to prevent oil leakage.
2. Divide by connection method
1. Foot installation
Foot installation features: Fix it to the equipment base with bolts through the mounting holes (foot) at the bottom of the reducer.
Applicable scenarios for foot installation: This is the most common installation method for large or heavy reducers (such as ZQ and ZL series) and has strong stability.
Advantages of foot installation: The installation is stable and suitable for equipment that needs to be fixed horizontally.
2. Flange installation
Flange installation features: The end face of the reducer is equipped with a flange, which is directly fixed to the vertical support surface of the equipment through bolts.
Applicable scenarios for flange installation: Suitable for equipment with ample radial space or vertical support surfaces.
Advantages of flange installation: compact axial size and good connection rigidity.
3. Divided by shaft system layout
1. Parallel shaft type
Features of parallel shaft type: The input shaft and output shaft are parallel to each other, which is a typical structure of cylindrical gear reducer.
Advantages of parallel shaft type: High transmission efficiency (up to more than 98%), suitable for scenarios requiring efficient linear transmission.
2. Right angle shaft type
Features of the right-angle shaft type: The axes of the input shaft and the output shaft are at a 90-degree angle, and steering is usually achieved through bevel gears or worms.
Right-angle shaft type applicable scenarios: Suitable for equipment that needs to change the transmission direction, such as certain types of screw conveyors.
