The functions of the car transmission are as follows:

The automatic transmission is composed of hydraulic converter, planetary gear and hydraulic control system.It can change speed and torque through hydraulic transmission and gear combination.
Automatic transmissions have become the mainstream in the world, mainly including AT (automatic), AMT (integrated automatic manual), CVT (no pace change) and DCT (dual clutch) and other types.
