For the selection of the worm gear reducer, the role of the reducer itself must be considered first, followed by the size of the corresponding equipment, as well as the speed ratio, installation method, and assembly form of the worm gear reducer. Finally, pay attention to the corresponding motor power and the environment in which the motor is used. The following briefly introduces the Selection method of the worm gear reducer.

First calculate the speed ratio of the worm gear reducer (reduction ratio = motor speed (standard speed 1400) / reducer output shaft speed), try to choose a reduction ratio close to the ideal, and then calculate the torque.Torque calculation is very important for the service life of the reducer.Pay attention to whether the maximum torque value of the acceleration exceeds the maximum load torque of the reducer; finally determine the direction of the input and output shafts.

Note that the oil level must be checked during use.The sealing plug of the reducer can be replaced by the exhaust plug attached to the reducer through the oil level static hole or opening the oil plug; the standard working environment temperature of the reducer should be kept between -5°C and 40°C.The reducer must not be exposed to sunlight or harsh environments.Pay attention to keep good ventilation near the motor fan, so as not to affect heat dissipation.
